Hi! Call me Cait. This is my writing journal, isn't it nice? Have a look around at your leisure.

I decided, since I seemed to be in that habit already, that I was only going to post on days of the week that preceeded the last day of the week that I previously posted on. My first post was on a Tuesday, my second was on a Monday and my third was on a Sunday, etc. But I don't want anyone thinking that this is going to be a weekly occurance. I reserve the right to skip weeks (so, it'll be six days from my last post, plus any multiple of a week of my choice). If you are now wondering "WTF would you do that for?!" I'll direct your attention to my screenname, bitch!

Er, anyway, I'm new to all this, so please be patient with me. Life gets hard sometimes. As my username might suggest, I have a tendency to complicate it myself. I created this journal to post my writings in. I'm a notoriously slow writer with a total lack of motivation and I apologise profusely for keeping anyone waiting for updates to stories I am writing. I'm trying really hard to get my act together to do that.

What I DO plan on, though, when I unravel the mess of my free time, is to post various stories that I write. Some fan fiction, that I have found I can also cross post in other places, and some original works, which will be friends only, 'cause I'm insecure like that. Of course, I need some friends first, so, don't be shy to add me to your lists! I'll do the same!

***I want to be clear, though, that this journal is my writing journal, and I created it to be completely separate from any other part of my life. This means that I don't want anyone referring to me by any other name than Cait, or making any references to my real world life, or internet pursuits outside of this circle (the Cait Circle*). I am pleased to welcome new friends in, but violating that trust will cause me to have to permanantly lock this journal, and I don't want to do that. This isn't about anything that has happened or anything that I have discussed with anyone. Really, it isn't about you. I'm not suspecting you or angry at you specifically for anything that you have done. I'm serious. It's just a personal precaution and general warning. Thanks for understanding.***
